A £13M bet on transformative technology

Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), has committed £13 million to advancing transformative technologies — a dedicated push to nurture projects that could redefine the technological landscape. (UKRI announcement.)

Redefining AI compliance

RevAIsor’s mission is to tackle trust and transparency by building an AI compliance platform with advanced auditing tools — following a compliance-by-design approach that weaves ethics into a system’s DNA rather than retrofitting it later. The platform will also include lifecycle management for continuous monitoring and auditing.

Why the urgency

As AI moves into critical applications, assurance can’t be an afterthought. Studies have surfaced biases and inaccuracies even in remarkable models like GPT-3, which can produce biased or inaccurate responses in certain contexts. RevAIsor uses synthetic data to scrutinise for the slightest bias and improve the robustness and comprehensibility of AI models.

To underpin the mission, RevAIsor leverages blockchain and web3 — making audit records tamper-proof and secure, with decentralised storage and encryption protecting sensitive audit data.
